Youth Camp

Details for Youth Camp 2011 are currently being planned
Check back later in the year for more details.
On Camp we look at the Christian faith and answer questions that arise from our fantastic sessions, designed to get you involved and enjoying a new way to learn about God. We have a brilliant band who come along and enable us to worship God, learning new songs.

On site there is a 15 metre indoor heated swimming pool. We offer a wide range of instructed activities including a Low Ropes course, Sports Fields and we always have a Camp Fire with Marshmellows.
We end Youth Camp with the Youth Camp Prom, where everyone gets dressed up and has a fabulous time.
Youth Camp is for 11-17 year olds
(If you are in current year 6 you are old enough to come along).
Youth Camp is probably the best week of the year! We have an amazing team of people waiting to take you on a week of fun and action.
If you are interested in coming along you can contact Ashford Baptist with any questions. If you think that you will not know anyone on Camp, don't be afraid, right from the start we will ensure that you will meet people of the same age and get to know them over the course of the week. By the time it comes to an end of Camp, we will guarantee you will have made a whole new group of friends. You can also invite your friends to come along, just give them an application form and get them to sign up. If they have never been on Youth Camp before and your name is written on their application form you will get a special prize on Camp!.
Fill in your application and with your deposit send it back to the church to make sure you get your place on this years Camp. You will receive a confirmation letter and get the information pack by the in July.
On camp this year you can choose to do 3 specialist activities from the 6 activities on offer. But space is limited on each activity, therefore get your application form back as soon as possible:
Activities are:
Raft Building - In teams create your own rafts and then dare to climb aboard to see if they float.
Abseiling - Abseil down a tower with lots of amusing poses.
Archery - Become Robin Hood and fire arrows!
Climbing - Climb up the tower and see how far you get.
Kayaking - Be Brave and have your own kayak out on the lake.
Canoeing - In flat bottom boats, get out on the water with a friend to compete in team games.
All activities are run on site by fully trained professionals. Safety equipment is provided and must be worn.
