A Growing Church in a Growing Town

Sunday Online Service

Due to the COVID-19 situation, we as a church are not able to meet physically so we are streaming our Sunday service.

The online service will take place at 1030am on Sundays on the Ashford Baptist Church YouTube channel at:

Hello Church Family

We will be gathering together again for worship on Sunday 7th June at 10.30am via the ABC YouTube channel. This week will be coming as one livestream from our lounge rather than the manse.  Rob, Lorna and Ruth are having a 2 week break from being in front of the camera but will be joining us in the congregation.  Rev Jerry Newson, who recently retired from his role as SEBA Regional Minister, will be bringing us the message and our prayers will be led by Jo White.

The word sheet is attached below and also some activity ideas for children (and those young at heart).  Ive included some ideas for making musical instruments  Psalm 150 says ‘Let everything that has breath praise the Lord’ and list lots of different instruments that we can praise God with.  Perhaps you would like to make your own instrument to use during our worship time, or perhaps you have an instrument already at home and would like to play along with me.  Take a photo and post it on the ABC community Facebook page.  There is also a colouring sheet but you could also create a work of art inspired by something you would like to thank God for.  It would be lovely to see some photos of these too.
And just a quick reminder to send us a photo of yourselves (landscape please) with any family news, telling what you’ve been up to over the past few weeks, showing off you lockdown hairstyle or just to say hello.  It would be great to be able to show some of your lovely faces on Sunday morning.  Send them to webeditor@ashfordbaptist.org.uk
