To support the operation of the church and to allow the church be able to support those organisations that we work with, we take up a offering each week. You can bring your offering to the church or make your offerings online into the church bank account (email office@ashfordbaptist.org.uk for details). You could either do this on a weekly/monthly basis, or else set up a standing order (including if you usually give through the envelope system). Please note that your offerings are eligible for Gift Aid (subject to the rules of the scheme), which adds 25% to their value.
A Gift Aid form is available here if you have not previously completed one – please complete it and bring it into the church office. And please remember to include either your surname or your envelope system number in the Reference field of any online giving, so that we can link your offering to your Gift Aid form.
Fellowship Fund. Also as previously mentioned, the church operates a separate fund (‘The Fellowship Fund’) for anyone who is experiencing financial difficulty at any time. This is an ongoing support in the life of ABC, but at this particular time we expect there to be a greater need for it than is usual. So we are making an extra appeal, only to those who feel able to contribute, to make either a one-off or regular gift to this fund during the coronavirus pandemic. The bank details are the same as above. Please mark your gift in the Reference field as ‘Fellowship Fund’. If you wish it to be Gift-Aided, please also include your surname there.
